Will Social Security be there when you want to retire?

A recent study revealed that 77% of workers fear that Social Security won’t be there for them when they’re ready to retire.  But, since Social Security was never intended to make up more than 40% of anyone’s retirement income, those folks would do well to focus on saving for their retirement to supplement income from Social Security which will, after all, always be there.  This article by Maurie Backman asks the question “Should you worry about Social Security?”, and then explains that if you save enough for your retirement you won’t have to worry.  Click here to read more.
