You are Responsible for Your Own Retirement

The majority of business owners do not have an adequate retirement plan in place for their workers, it is becoming more and more the sole responsibility of the individual to plan for their own retirement. It has always been on the shoulders of the individual to make sure they have enough put away to sustain themselves, but in the past they have always been able to rely on the help of pension plans, 401(k)s, and Social Security to bolster their own savings. Business owners are not providing because they do not see a benefit to the company to supply a good retirement plan.
