Social Security’s online services include a “My Social Security” account, which is your personal portal into your Social Security entitlements. But this online account isn’t just for those already collecting Social Security, it’s also very beneficial to everyone who will someday become eligible for benefits. Even younger folks who work and contribute to Social Security should have an online account, if for no other reason than monitoring their earnings record to make sure it’s accurate.
