Continuing to Work in Retirement

There are two sides to this issue. For most people, continuing to work in retirement is a necessity in order to have enough money to live off of. This can be for a multitude of reasons, but the biggest reason is because most people neglect their retirement savings and plan on living solely off of Social Security in retirement. This is not the plan that you want to be on. In the end you have to look at what option fits best for you, if you need to keep working or not. This answer is different for everyone, and the best thing to do is to sit down and plan out your expected finances and income through retirement and see where you stand to see if continued work is worth it.
