  1. I worked my whole life while possible and paid into Social Security, married for 28 yrs and working, the last 5 years I worked my husband had cancer. I paid into and worked when I could. I had 2 heart attacks in day and had ton quit working. My husband passed away. In collect 846.00 a month on my social security and approx. $484 a month on my husband. I always worked and collect a little over $500 month pension for a husband that worked over 30 yrs in steel mills. I find it hard to believe that an illegal immigrant can earn more than

  2. I don’t understand why the spouse of a disabled person gets a check until the last child reaches 16. Most mothers arrange for child care and have to work. Also, at age 62, it should convert to retirement. Medicare should not pay for organ transplantation, kidney o.k., but a million dollars on a heart transplant?

  3. In December 2010, my ex-husband became the Representative Payee for our son and began receiving monthly Social Security disability benefits on his behalf. In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, my ex-husband declared under penalty of perjury when he completed his Representative Payee Report that his minor child lived with him and of the $27,871 he had received for the child’s care and support, he spent the entire amount on the child. I was unaware of the benefits until December 2014 when the Social Security Office in Hilo, Hawaii notified me by phone to become the Representative Payee “now that my son was living with me again”. I advised the Hilo Representative that our son has not lived with his father since July 2001. Since December 2014, I’ve filed over 20 fraud complaints with SSA Hilo Hawaii and the SSA Office of Inspector General (OIG) website. As of today, my ex-husband is still the Representative Payee and collecting monthly benefits for a child not living with him. I’m one American reporting $28,000 in social security disability fraud and NO ONE at the SSA Hilo Hawaii office or the SSA OIG is listening! How many more Americans are reporting fraud and being ignored by this Administration?

    • You can call, visit or write your local congressman’s office to file a complaint. They will send a congressional letter to your local Social Security office addressed to the office manager. When they see ANY congressional letters, they respond ASAP!

  4. I am a 67 year old widow. I have worked all of my adult life and supported my family. I receive $1222.00 per month in social security payments. I live in a modest mobile home in a 55+ community. I attend church but cannot pledge as many people do so I volunteer at the church’s thrift shop and do my best to help out when I can. After my monthly bills are paid – lot rent, electric, homeowners and car insurance, phone-tv and internet I am left with $ 65.00.This is all I have for groceries, toilet paper and gas. God forbid I have to go to the doctor. This is not right! I worked all my life and paid taxes. There are not illegals but citizens- young kids who are having 3, 4, 5 children and getting money from the government to support then. It is not fair. I cannot afford to live after years paying taxes into this government for 50 years and illegals as well as irresponsible children having children go to McDonalds to feed their kids. I cooked for my children and now I can’t afford to eat. Donald, I honestly think you can fix this

    • go on-line and find a home-based business – don’t give up – pray and God will lead you to the perfect home-based businesses that cost next to nothing to join. if you are in doubt, type in the word ‘fraud’ behind the business’ name and a page or two should come up if anyone has reported fraud to this business. Good luck!
