Who cares about senior citizens?
There are nearly 40 million seniors living in the United States and over 50 percent are going hungry daily; they need our help, our support.
It is projected that by the year 2050 the number of seniors living in the United States is going to triple, so we need to address this problem now. In a time where people spend $5 on a cup of coffee, there is no reason why a senior should go hungry. That $5 cup of coffee would feed five seniors a meal. Let’s think about that! It is our responsibility, as a nation, to take care of the least represented, our seniors.
