Medical Costs Top Retirement Concerns, Poll Finds

High medical expenses are Americans’ biggest financial worry about retirement, topping concerns about running out of money, according to a new report by Bankrate.com….Running out of money is the biggest fear for people 18-to-29. A tapped-out nest egg was a close second overall among concerns, the report found….Future retirees aren’t counting on Social Security to fund their golden years. Just 13 percent expect it to account for all or most of their retirement income, while 14 percent expect it to account for half their retirement income.
