Common Traits in an Inter-Generational Work Place
As Baby Boomers retire, Millennials are making up more and more of the work place, quickly becoming the majority. This may cause concern with the older work force, but the newer workers are not bringing in the sweeping changes in work ethic that some have feared. The newer generation has more in common with the Boomers than may appear at first glance. This isn’t as much of a surprise when you stop and think about where they learn their work ethics from. Millennials grew up watching how their parents carried themselves in relation to work and have carried over the same ethics and mind set.
