Fixing Disability Insurance

Heritage Foundation senior policy analyst Rachel Greszler recently shared her views on how to improve Social Security Disability in a public talk with The Federalist. Greszler went on air to say that the SSDI has deviated from its original purpose and has become a sort of catch all insurance against unemployment whos main eligibility include age, skill level, and education. She would like to see it revert to being a prevention against succumbing to poverty in the event that a person is too disabled to work.
