Another Reminder: “Restricted Application” is Still Available for Some

For those born on or before January 1, 1954, the strategy of filing a restricted application remains on their Social Security options list. This strategy allows folks in this category to to apply for spousal benefits when they reach their full retirement age (FRA) and allow their benefit eligibility applicable to their own earnings record to grow until age 70.
