Today’s retirement about more than just money

Unfortunately, far too many people don’t even think about engaging a professional retirement planner and coach, because they think they  can figure their retirement out on their own.  The reality is that there is often a dark side to retirement, the side that includes depression, relationship issues, and the loss of daily interpersonal interaction that every day work provides.  Also unfortunately, pretty much all of the retirement planning advice you read about today focuses only on the financial aspects of your golden years, with little or no space given to the emotional needs created by going from a 40 hour work week to a life without labor.  As this Forbes article by Robert Laura explains, it’s time to understand that there’s a new reality to retirement life.  Click here to read more.
