The Minimum Wage Debate: Two Sides to the Coin

As states like California move ahead with their plans to implement higher minimum wage laws, its important that the two sides of the coin be examined. Will a loss of jobs substantially impact earnings records and ultimately the size of Social Security benefits (and, of course, tax revenues flowing into Social Security), or will the increased earnings by those able to work offset the loss.
