Almost 20 million working Americans between ages 55 and 64 do not have a pension and no money in a 401(k) retirement accounts. According to a recent Gallup survey, it found baby boomer respondents indicated that retirement age plans are related to whether individuals believe they have “enough money to do everything that you want to do.” For those who strongly disagree with that statement, they plan to delay retirement until age 73, while those who strongly agree focus on retirement at age 66.
