A Look at Some Social Security Nomenclature
Like any other functioning system, Social Security is loaded with acronyms and terminology that can often be confusing. So, to help out a bit in this area, patch.com Community Contributor Delia De Mello has posted an article on their website explaining some of the key terms most folks will encounter as they explore the massive Social Security System. Recognizing that a single post could not cover all of the arcane words and phrases included in the program, she wisely includes a link to Social Security’s “Glossary of Social Security Terms,” a compendium of basic terminology used in the program.
