For many seniors, working a whole career can get stale, causing retirement to look extremely attractive. But about 2 in 5 Americans have found that retirement isn’t all they dreamed it to be, and have returned to work – in other words they have quit retirement. And it’s not only about money. Many are simply unprepared for the amount of time they have available in retirement to, essentially, do nothing productive. Quitting retirement and returning to work in a low stress job often fills the void and need for interesting human interaction which dissolved when they retired from their career employment.
