Another Social Security scam alert!

It seems as if there’s no end to the shenanigans criminals will try to bilk you out of your money, and your Social Security benefit is a prime target for those with nefarious intentions. In this Sweetwater Now (WY) press release quoting county Sheriff Mike Lowell, he explains that swindlers posing as Social Security Administration agents are calling people and even leaving messages that the SSA is about to cut off benefits for the unsuspecting potential victim unless they call back and provide information to resolve a fictitious issue. As counseled in the article, Social Security doesn’t make such calls and you should immediately hang up or not respond.
