Baby Boomers Role in the Government

Baby Boomers are the most important voting demographic right now. Although Millennials have caught up in terms of eligible voters they still fall far behind in actually making it to the polls. Obama succeeded in pulling an above average amount of Millennials to the polling stations in his first campaign but the numbers fell off significantly for his second. This election season hinges with the Boomers and as such the big issues revolve around their age group. Social Security seems to be the biggest one this season as Boomers start to retire in huge numbers and are worried about the future of the system.
