During the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Social Security, Pensions, and Family Policy’s meeting held on June 24th, the committee heard from politicians on both sides of the aisle and experts in economics, small businesses, and Social Security, calling for congressional action. With the most recent Trustees Report, the OASI trust fund is expected to exhaust its reserves by the end of 2032; the time to act is now.
