From the Mound: Obama should remember what he asked for, revive Simpson-Bowles plan
As most here by now know, the Mound is fond of those old sayings. They’re not only pithy, but hold small pieces of wisdom we can all use. One of my favorites is actually one often espoused by my former college roommate and goes something like, “Watch what you wish for, you might just get it.” Personally, after reading of another Obama “tax and spend plan,” I’d love to walk up to the soon-be-former president – hey, 2016 isn’t that far away – and remind him he’s already been told that’s the wrong direction.
