House Passes Social Security Child Protection Act of 2023

As part of a bipartisan effort to help working families, the House last week passed the Social Security Child Protection Act of 2023 (H.R. 3667). The Act makes it easier for parents to receive a new Social Security number for their child when that child’s number has been compromised.
