How Millennials are Saving for Retirement

Millennials are starting to take the hint from the older generations and investing early as per their advice. They are now investing and saving at an age younger than those generations before them. Millennials on average start investing around age 23, whereas Boomers didn’t start until their 30s. Boomers still hold a higher percentage of investments, however, with 49% of households compared to only 32% of Millennials. This is a great start, though, and more and more Millennials are heeding the words of their parents and investing early for their future retirement.
