In the past 20 years, homeownership among retirees has dropped from 80 percent to 74 percent. Although renting in retirement may look like a sensible option for retirees, but one thing that many of them overlook is the prospect of landlords raising the rents. In a recent report shows that the average rents have increased in some places around four percent and other areas even higher.
