Social Security 2027 Fact Sheet - Social Security Administration
As a follow-up to the 2027 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) announcement on Wednesday, the Social Security Administration has updated its full Fact Sheet for the coming year. The update includes, in addition to the COLA data, the 2027 Maximum Taxable Earnings, Quarter of Coverage earnings level, Retirement Earnings Test Exempt Amounts, Social Security Disability Thresholds, Maximum Social Security Benefit: Worker Retiring at Full Retirement Age, and the Estimated Average Monthly Social Security Benefits Payable in January 2027. Although technically not part of Social Security, the Fact Sheet also provides the following Supplemental Security Income (SSI) updates: SSI Federal Payment Standard, SSI Resource Limits, and SSI Student Exclusion.
