Social Security advice on retiring abroad, applying for benefits, and others

In this Detroit Lakes Online article, columnist Patty Hoffman provides information from the Social Security Administration (SSA) on how, if you’ve decided to spend your retirement overseas, collecting your benefits would work.  The rules are different, depending upon the country you plan to retire to, but Social Security’s website has a whole section on international benefits which will help you.  The article also includes several questions and answers from SSA on how to apply online, applying for disability benefits, and how to get questions on Medicare answered.  Click here to read more.
