Stimulus Payments Still Unpaid for Some

Probably the most frequently asked question over the last couple of months is “Did you get your stimulus check yet?” And that’s not surprising considering the sheer size and diversity of the population that is schedule to receive those payments. For those on Social Security and Supplemental Security income, it’s important to keep in mind that it is the IRS, not the Social Security Administration, who is managing the distribution of those economic relief payments. But it’s also clear that the IRS has a staggered distribution plan which has left about 13 million recipients still waiting.
