Tax Deduction : $4,000 or $6,000? - Kiplinger

The Big Beautiful Bill passed the house with a provision for an additional $4,000 tax deduction for seniors age 65 and over. This is a roundabout way to help cut taxes on Social Security Benefits. The Senate is now perusing the bill and wants to increase the tax deduction to $6,000 to increase help for seniors. Kelly R Taylor for Kiplinger explains here…
