“Unretirement” is an option many are taking

“Unretirement” – that is, going back to work after you have retired – is an option that many are finding attractive or necessary these days. In fact, 39% of today’s workers over age 65 have previously retired from the workforce and, for a variety of reason, have gone back to work. They may find that they need the money, or they simply get bored in retirement, but whatever the reason the affect of returning to work on their Social Security benefit needs to be carefully considered.
