TAX BREAK BILL: A New Bill in the Minnesota House of Representatives Would Create a Tax Break for Seniors

With a nearly $2 billion projected surplus in Minnesota, ideas are flying around the capitol on what to do with the extra money. House Republicans have an idea on their plan to give back some of that money to taxpayers by giving a tax break to seniors. A bill making its way through the House would reduce the Social Security tax for seniors by ten percent each year until the tax is phased out.
