Baby Boomers are very different from their predecessors in retirement. They are becoming increasingly more aware of personal and environmental health. Homes and lifestyles that generate a lower carbon footprint are becoming more and more popular. Recent retirees are more active outside of the home, picking up hobbies such as hiking and kayaking, and areas that can offer these amenities are increasing in popularity among this demographic.
