Gov. Perry reverses course on Obamacare
Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), one of the boldest critics of the Affordable Care Act, is now requesting $100 million in healthcare funding from the Obama administration. He claims that federal funds are needed to help people in the state with disabilities. The governor should realize that 6.3 million uninsured Texans are also “disabled” and if they become ill or are injured they will suffer, and the state’s taxpayers will be forced to pick up the tab.
