Yesterday, this one caught our eye because our Social Security Advisory Service so frequently hears the refrain Margenau is describing…”Why is Social Security so complicated?” As we explain to our callers, there are thousands of specific rules, and hundreds of thousands of supplementary pages of detailed explanations in support of those rules, and in this post, Margenau offers an example of why this is so.
