Net worth, retirement savings and debt look very different once retirement begins. Turns out, though, that American’s in the age 65 to 74 age bracket are doing quite well compared to those in other age groups. for example, those in the younger generations (who obviously have had less time to accumulate wealth) have a much lower net worth than those in the older generations. And those who have been retired for a long period of time also have a smaller net worth than their younger retired cohorts.
