Brady Pegs Inflation at 9.9%, Cites Shrinking Paychecks

In an interview with Washington Watch’s Tony Perkins, Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX)  offered a scathing analysis of inflation and its impact on American workers. Citing a 3% drop in real wages since January of 2021, he notes “…inflation is accelerating and people are losing buying power more and more each month.” One needs to wonder what impact this will have (is having, actually) on the workforce’s ability to save for retirement in the face of Social Security’s serious solvency problems.
