Brady: “Support for Workers, Families, and Social Security Act” will provide “financial relief and certainty …”

In a press release posted on gop-waysandmeans.house.gov, Kevin Brady (R-TX) introduced the Support for Workers, Families, and Social Security Act, a bill that ” … ensures that workers, families, and small businesses can have financial relief and certainty by creating a temporary payroll tax holiday from September 1 through December 31, 2020 for all workers.” In his comments, Brady, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, commented that the legislation is designed to ” … help local economies, create certainty for businesses, and safeguard Social Security.” Read the press release here… and click here for a one-pager covering the legislation.
