Efforts underway to get the SECURE Act signed into law by year end

The office of Sen. Rob Portman (D-Ohio) reports that efforts are in progress to position the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (Secure) Act up for adoption by year end.Speaking at the annual conference of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in National Harbor, Maryland, Portman explained his view that ““This is common-sense legislation that needs to get done now.” For more, read ThinkAdvisor Washngton Bureau Chief Melanie Waddell’s article here…
