Scams on the Rise: Free Credit Reports Available Through Next Year

It’s always a problem, but without question, it’s reaching a peak in these uncertain financial times. We’re referring, of course, to the growing number of scams and fraud actions taking a toll on so many folks, with seniors being a popular target. The folks at the Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Information certainly know this and are advising that the three national credit reporting agencies, which last year gave people weekly access to monitor their credit report for free, are extending that benefit until April 20, 2022.
