With most of the media’s retirement planning information focused on the employed, it’s easy to see how homemakers–those not employed outside the home–can be overlooked. But it’s a big problem, and according to a recent study by Pew Research, it’s getting bigger, giving rise to an increasing need for retirement planning for this segment of the population.
