You are neglecting a very important issue, namely the Social Security Administration (SSA) is fundamentally dishonest. If my experience is any indication, the Government (SSA) has stolen huge amounts of money. Their record keeping is a deliberate shambles, and SSA does not respond to complaints. With the scheme that’s in place, it’s doubtful SSA will ever go under because it’s a Government cash cow.
