Musings of a retired Social Security employee

Noted columnist Tom Margenau often writes about Social Security matters offering advice to those with questions, and he is well qualified to do so given his long time employment at the Social Security Administration.  But with the budget cuts and staff reductions the SSA has been implementing in recent years, Tom laments the “old days” of a kinder, gentler SSA when he could spend time chatting idly with beneficiaries who come into the office.  In this column appearing at www.creators.com, Mr. Margenau asks the question “Do you really want a shrunken SSA?”.  Click here to read more.
