Nation reaches Tax Freedom Day
Puffs: For all of us who were busy on Friday, were you aware that it was actually Tax Freedom Day? On the average, Americans have earned enough money to pay off their total tax bills for the year, which includes the federal, state and local tax assessments. So why did some of us have to write a check just two weeks ago? The Bureau of Economic Analysis has issued its report that it took 114 days (one more than last year) to meet this goal. Read more…
