New Population Data from Social Security

Each year there is a new report published showing the past, present, and projected population that receives Social Security benefits per year. This information is very important when looking at proposals for changing the system in any way as it shows how many people will be expected to be affected by any new legislation. Information gathered in this way is laid out in every imaginable combination of age, economic status, and ethnicity in order to paint a very detailed and the most accurate picture possible. The projected data is estimated as far ahead as the year 2090 and is recalculated each year for the closest estimates possible. For more information, visit the source of the data here with the official Social Security website.
