Retirement in the New Age

Retirement looks much different now than it did even a few years ago. There is a growing trend of seniors working well in to retirement either through necessity or preferring to stay busy. The average life expectancy is also still increasing meaning that people are in retirement for longer than ever before. This unfortunately requires even more money to sustain them throughout their entire retirement when most are barely saving enough in the first place. To make matters worse, many who would prefer to keep their job longer after retirement are not able to do so either because they are pushed out of the company or they are not physically able to keep working.
