Though America’s healthcare system is among the best in the world, a more holistic approach to senior healthcare could avoid many of the problems our aged population face today. What that means is senior healthcare should transition to a mixture of both medical and social care aimed at avoiding unnecessary hospitalizations and focusing also on the non-medical needs of America’s senior citizens.
