Social Security Solvency Issue: Status Quo?

The impending depletion of Social Security’s Trust Fund reserves is in the news a fair amount these days, and each passing year has steadily reduced the projected date at which the reserves would be fully exhausted. The Covid-19 pandemic, of course, created havoc in the workforce and has muddied up the projections a bit, so it’s often anyone’s guess about where the endpoint lies.
