Social Security Works Statement on Governor Bush’s Support For Social Security Cuts

The following is a statement from the executive director of Social Security Works in response to Governor Jeb Bush’s comments regarding Social Security. “Raising the retirement age is a benefit cut of around 6.5% per year raised, and the age is already going up from 65 to 67,” said Alex Lawson, executive director of Social Security Works. Read more…
