Still Time to Switch if you don’t like your Medicare Advantage Plan
If you’re not happy with the Medicare Advantage plan you signed up for last fall, then you’re in luck. That’s because until the end of this month, we are still in the Medicare Open Enrollment period which allows you to switch from your current Medicare Advantage plan to another Advantage plan, or even back to “orginal Medicare” if you so choose. This is a relatively recent option which recognizes that people can sign up for an Advantage plan in the fall that they later find to not suit their needs, or that their existing Medicare Advantage plan has changed and no longer provides them healthcare coverage they desire.
