The Secret to Staying Put in Retirement

More and more retirees are refusing to down size in retirement. The Baby Boomer generation is among the first to be able to afford to stay in their lifetime home after retiring. In the past, it was traditional to down size to smaller living quarters in retirement, a great way to stretch money when you start living on a fixed income. Many are planning ahead when it comes to this, moving in to areas that are more conscientious about their residents living out their golden years in that area, essentially a community that age with its residents. This is a relatively new style of housing that offers lower upkeep as well as floor plans and accessories that become more appreciated in older ages.
