A New Way to Fund Social Security

The insolvency issue has been a hot topic lately and everyone seems to have their own idea of the right answer. There are many different proposals out there that all promise to solve the issues. With all of these plans the funding comes from a different place. Many of them pull the money from extra taxes, some supplement them with budget cuts in other areas, and some pull money from investing in areas that the Social Security Trust Fund does not already pull from. One new suggestion comes in the form of a national lottery that would help fund the program.
