Entering Retirement with Zero Savings

Much of the recent news and reports have been centered around the Baby Boomer’s lack of retirement savings, but studies have shown the Gen X is even worse off. Generation X has on average $194,000 in savings compared to Baby Boomers $300,000. This average even skews the data in a favorable way because of wealthier outliers, almost half of this generation has less than $100,000 in savings.
