House Ways and Means Comments on Increased Tax Revenue via TCJA

Citing the “cumulative benefits of sustained economic growth, which encourages additional workers to enter and existing workers to stay in the labor force” as a driver, the House Ways and Means Committee’s blog post yesterday noted that tax revenues have increased by $106 billion since last August. This upward trend in tax revenue bodes well for Social Security, at least in the short term. Read the full post here…
